I made a couple Idea Pouches by Michelle Patterns. As extras in the two swap packages I mailed out this past month. I love this pattern! I need to make a couple more up for my girls and fill them with goodies for our road trip to Calgary which is a good 10 hour drive. Since I was making it for a four year old I chose a sketch pad! I decided this was the perfect opportunity to cut into my stash of Denyse Schmidt fabrics and use all of her lines in one quilt - which at the time was just Flea Market Fancy, Katie Jump Rope and Hope Valley. The white geo daisy print. Is one I purchased from Indiesew. Is one I purchased from Jones and Vandermeer. It was also interesting to compare the different fabrics and how there were slight differ.

Hello my name is Emily and this is my blog. Saturday, November 23, 2013. OK, so my name is Emily, I have a friend named Emily. And a friend named Elaine. We swap stuff and we call it the EEE Swap. Emily actually wrote a great post. But THEN Elaine just had to up and move to California! Here we are at QuiltCon receiving our lovely swap items! Sooooo of COURSE we could not .

But just not a lot of sew time. Finished some baby quilts a while back. I have been knitting more-so these days. Robots on the front, Mustaches on the back. Just some easy blocks, with swirly FMQ. A little label to cover a boo-boo. Simple patchwork, with space frogs and dogs on the back. Wrap around backing into a binding. Folded up and ready for delivery.
