A quick update on the progress of the cob shelter. Before writing more in detail about the techniques, I want to give a brief update with a couple of pictures to show, how the project has progressed over the last two month. Now it was time to cover the whole place with a tarp. There was quite some rain during August, so I needed to create a dry spot, where I could mix my cob and at the same time to protect the structure from rain.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Tradd and Olga Mushroom Mountain." I noticed that the web site stated " Picking blewits in the winter is lots of fun." They also stated " There are not many other edible mushrooms to be picked in the cold months, but they take some time to find, being covered with leaf litter. Usually we find them in our secret spots, have a blast picking them, cause they are usually in large numbers. Then we give them away. Why do we give them away?
