To learn more about Scanography and read some tips please read the post below on Scanograpghy. For this post I scanned first the glue sticks with my HP Deskjet F4440. Then i scanned the tenis ball. Then I scanned the thumb tact . I then used the magic wond tool in partern ship with the quick selection tool to cut them out to make them crisp and clean.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. I used this edge effect on both my 8x10 and 4x6 prints. I deleted the contents and used white as the color, then used the history brush to paint it back. I scanned a necklace of mine in a dark room to get good color, and then I used a Pseudo HDR action in Photoshop. And here are the images it took to get the final blend.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. For this border effect I used the flexible brush tutorial to create that brushed on effect. After I got it how I wanted it to look I added a rectangle box and put a stroke on it. I wanted the colors to match and tried to get it as close as I could. I thought it turned out well. This was pretty fun, even though I am not the best at this! I scanned each of these things separately with a scanner with a pink piece of paper on top and then combined them using masks and the paintbrush. I added an inch of canvas on all sides and then used the white paint brush with a thick heavy brush and painted the border around it. I then added the text. 2010; 4 pm; Rexburg, ID; f 7.
