Logical Definition- dictionary definition, places the concept into a category and then explains the characteristics that distinguish that concept from all the other memebers of that category. Etymological- drawn from root words in older cultures. Histoical- how the word is derived linked by an historical event. Operational definition- how the object being referred to works or operates.
