Here is the whole school optional summer holiday homework I mentioned in my last post. What can you find out about hedgehogs? What do you already know? We must be able to find out some fascinating facts together. You will see that this post says we will be having year group blogs rather than individual class blogs next year. As you know, year 4 start their swimming lessons on Tuesday next week. This means that from next week children should come to school wearing their PE kits on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Children should now wear normal school uniform on Mondays. On Tuesdays, children must remember to bring their swimming costume or trunks, towel and swimming hat. Goggles are optional! Year 5 applied their understanding of properties of shape, to identify whether a given shape was an regular or irregular quadrilateral. They had to ensure that they used the correct mathematical terms in order to give valid reasons. Proving the Earth is not flat! January 10, 2017.
All about the Year 6 Team! Posting videos on the blog. We had the students act this out, with some being the blood running through the body, and some students being the organs that need oxygen. Each student had a card and they had to flip it to either blue or red depending if they had oxygen or needed oxygen as they ran through the body.

Children shone light into boxes to see if they could discover the mystery object! January 9, 2017. If you have any cardboard at home or any other materials you can think of that will help us create our Greek buildings please could you bring it into school.
