I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University funded by an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biology. I am studying the diversity and biomechanics of gill microstructures in fishes. As a PhD student at Cornell University, I studied variation in gill ventilatory systems in ray-finned fishes by focusing on anatomy, biomechanics, and evolution of the gill chamber.
