What just happened to me? Fifteen minutes ago I walked down the stairs to the kitchen in the basement of my office. They keep cookies in the cupboards there about seven or eight different kinds. I opened the cupboard and had a dark chocolate covered butter cookie. Then I had two Chips Ahoy cookies. You can see where this is going. And the worst part isI loved it! Am I an orphan now? On Tuesday, July 21st at around 1120 am, I held my fathers hand as he died. Tomorrow is the memorial service. I really dont have a lot to say yet, Im sure more will come in time. What I do know is that I dont have any living parents anymore. I have joined the club I never wanted to join.
