Tent Rocks National Monument Day Hike. In May we had the chance to spend a week in Santa Fe with family. At 3 miles roundtrip, the hike was short, but it included some fantastic geology. Friday, December 9, 2011. End of a trip, beginning of a new adventure. Reflecting back, it seems like everything passed so quickly. First things first, a recap of the last week is an order. I wanted to pack in as much as I could before heading back to Seattle. In the morning we parted ways and I headed to Zermatt.
