We are a non-profit organization established in December 2009 by a group of people who had been attending the Vashon Island Sewing Retreats. Our organization name comes from our theme song. Our main function is to sponsor and manage the Sewing Retreats held annually on Vashon Island in Washington State. To learn more about these Sewing Retreats. The purpose of the Stitching Girls Society. We know that many of our Members are busy quilting and sewing items for others.

Talking about the stitches and possibly other things in my life, nestled in my my home. Monday, May 18, 2015. Last Tuesday I went to the yarn shop to begin winding the yarn for my healing project. The skein was a challenge, someone thought it had been wound by a winged monkey. My hills are having more meaning, more substance.

Monday, January 19, 2009. Last day of leisure! Okay, I went back to work from my looooong winter break on January 5th, and I started teaching my class on the 12th, but tomorrow MY classes start.
