My journey with Squirt my Stoma. What makes something go viral? August 2, 2014. It has been a while since I posted in this blog, a lot has been going on. The campaign took momentum and has raised a lot of money and has done a lot of good. The video is nearing 6000 views and still going, though it is beginning to slow. The amazing team have not stopped though, they are now selling merchandise, and have a competition for a calendar. Some of us ostomates ha.

I am Gemma. I am 28 years old. I am married to Marty and have 2 wonderful little boys; Elliott 4yrs and Declan 2yrs. When I was pregnant with Declan I started suffering with the symptoms of Crohns but these were passed off by doctors as being symptoms of pregnancy. I was eventually correctly diagnosedPARSED CONTENT

I noticed that the web site stated " Both my surgeries were performed at Wansbeck General Hospital by my saviour Mr Kalbassi." They also stated " Thanks to Louis V I am living life again, no longer tied to the toilet and Im currently crohns and drug free and Im able to have fun with my little boys after missing out on Declans 1st year! My surgeon came in to tell me that the surgery went off without a hitch and that my large intestine was basically on its last stretch. I thanked him and asked questions about my pouch and stoma.
