Death Penalty is a highly discussed topic and in this letter I will be telling you why I think Death Penalty in the US should not be abolished. I have a couple of arguments supporting my point of view. An eye for an eye. In addition to this having Death Penalty provides closure for Victims because their grief begins with the murder and the execution engender a feeling of relief for the relatives.
More than 1200 people have been executed in the US since 1973. I think this is 1200 too many. In addition to the economy, there also is a lot of moral, humanistic and emotive reasons to not have capital punishment as a legal sentence.
