We got up early this morning, and after a slap-up breakfast consisting of porridge and sausages, we headed off to South Padre Island, for the beach and the World Birding Center there. In contrast to the last two days, it was gloriously sunny and the idea of one final beach day before we headed back was appealing. After a while, Angela suggested ice cream, which was a good idea.
