Was I supposed to learn something? One curveball hit me hard, hit me in a deep wound and stronghold, both aimed at my identity as a single female. What started to open in Colombia went deeper still. I thought I could handle myself, but a previous event had occurred that same week, and it weakened me. I lost perspective and was broken. Though I have been healing, the wound and stronghold are deeper still. Over the years I slimmed down and relaxed my hold of fear.
