Awaiting the birth of baby robins. It seems a mother robin has built a nest in one of our huge spruce trees but at eye level so that we can see. She is totally devoted at this point and sits with her eggs protecting the nest like a good mother bird, day in and day out. Tis mating season for our fish in the Pond. Now with all 35 fish in the pond, if we start to have a few new baby fish it appears that we will have to begin transferring some of the fish to the top pond to make room for.

A celebration of the gardening life. Most of the clearing work at the garden has now been completed, and the garden has gone from this. The plants and the compost have arrived for the beds. Today one of the volunteers, Joan, and I have been laying out plants, ready for the Claremont Fan Court School student team to plant tomorrow.
