Monday, 7 September 2009. Sunday 6th September, and the first WAGS13 AGM was opened with a welcome given by the current WAGS13 Chairman, Phil Nalton. His pumpkin plant showed signs of stamina though by producing a late flurry of flowers and possible pumpkins. Mr Nalton decided to enter a couple of these efforts into the best matching pair category. Geraint Davies had another surprise for the group.

The site had the following in the homepage, "My journey from a hobby-baker to a professional hopefully cake designer." I noticed that the web site stated " December 8, 2008 by tastefullysweet." They also stated " Europe is missing out on all the cupcake fun. Why? They didnt discover the cupcakes yet. They know cakes and they know muffins, but no one put the two together yet. Till very recently, I myself have never made cupcakes. But two things lead me to try and, my oh my, am I happy to venture into the cupcake territory! Let me tell you, once I started I couldnt stop!
