Para realizar este ambicioso proyecto, se realizó un viaje al norte de nuestro país donde se recorrió gran parte de la ruta salitrera. Todo se inició un día viernes 26 de Mayo en el Publicity de Suecia con la ayuda Don Ian Thompson, guía y mentor de la empresa Rutas del Salitre y destacado especialista ferroviario, con él se estableció la ruta a seguir. Parto un trayecto desde Victoria a Poso al Monte recor.
