Spinning An Cala Quilts, Knits and Stuff. Tuesday, 14 May 2013. My mind is also wandering back to Auchindrain at the weekend which I thoroughly enjoyed. I demonstrated blending of different fibres to spin and there is a rather nice mix of white and candy colours I am looking forward to see spun. Now all this heavy duty thinking is taking place while I am seating in my favourite chair, The. I look out at the view and ponder. Now then what to do? Phoebe my love.
Saturday, 3 May 2014. May on a May morning. I peer through the undergrowth at a vision of bluebells and feel as if all has woken from a long sleep. There are things of interest in these hedgerows but some figures remain shadowy. May blossom, or hawthorn flowers. Or less poetically, cow parsley.

Sunday, April 6, 2014. I will be heading to Facebook. I will post there regularly now, as I do want to keep in touch with family and friends. I am taking a flight this summer to the UK for a Saori Workshop for a week. I will post pics of my work and everything that happens there on Facebook. I will talk about my weaving and quilting on Facebook or just drop in to chit chat. A few people have written me that they are on Facebook mostly, and it looks like I will have to do the same. The icing on the cake though was the special exhibit of 36 vintage garments from the PBS series, Downton Abbey - of which I, like many of you, am a devoted fan.
