Wednesday, January 1, 2014. This was a very special year because Mark was off for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! So we enjoyed every second. Santa brought the kids some new bikes, and they were so excited once they realized that the gifts Santa brought were on the rug and not under the tree. And lots of other goodies. So, last Friday I got a little ambitious. Whereas our driveway initially looked like this,. A short 20 minutes or so later it looked like this. It was easy to take them down, but cutting the limbs off, cutting up the logs, and transporting them to the woodpile and stacking them took a couple of hours on Saturday morning.
