Be Bald and Free Day. The holiday that I think is way too under appreciated is on October 14th and almost no one knows about it. It is National Be Bald and Free Day! This is possibly the best holiday of all time and almost no one has ever even heard about it. It gives hope and happiness to people that are bald and gives them reason to be FREE. Well that is my favorite holiday and it is most certainly under appreciated.
If i had to choose one holiday that is too overlooked, it would absolutely be Martin Luther King Jr. Yeah, we get a day off from school but is that really enough awareness? This man changed history and sacrificed his life for a better cause, and all we do is make the weekend a little longer. There should be parades! Where would we be in society if Mr.
Even though we get dressed up at school for it, it seems like a task when it should it be a privilege to honor the people who served this nation to protect our freedom. And it was pretty great! December 17, 2011.

I feel like every year at school people talk about the day, but people just vaguely know about it. No one knows the facts for sure and they just kind of go based off what everyone else says.
