Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Last Saturday, our friends invited us to join them in heading up to the mountains to cut down a Christmas tree. This was the first time I actually remember ever cutting down a Christmas tree in the forest! Much different and much more fun than simply going to your local Christmas tree farm in the middle of the city! Paul found a great tree.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Updated slide-show of Jacob and Family and Friends." I noticed that the web site stated " November 15, 2007 by thebrockfamily." They also stated " Just a place to check in on us. November 12, 2007 by thebrockfamily. We have been telling people for months that we will start a blog, but the reality is, we have put it off. There are several reasons for putting it off, but we are finally here. So, thats progress people. I am hoping to update often, but well see if that happens. Its been a good 3 years, with ups and downs. I guess, when you have someone there to share the downs with you, its mostly ups. Sad to say, good things dont last forever. Over the past years, many have come and gone. I have picked up my bag and gone on without opening up till 3 years ago. Today, i dont want to close up my heart. Its not supposed to feel the same way as a breakup. Because friends are supposed to last forever. SO why do i feel so lonely now? Where do i go? .
