The children in the Nursery enjoyed some May Day Celebrations today including dancing around a May pole. We brush our teeth after lunch. We eat fruit and vegetables for snack. We even made some vegetable soup. The Nursery children have been finding out how to look after their teeth to keep them clean, healthy and strong.

All the children held and stroked the animals. We found out a lot of interesting facts about the animals. Did you know that snakes have lots of muscles, 300 ribs and smell with their tongues? This slideshow requires JavaScript. We dressed as book characters. Making the lucky dragon masks.

Today, Y3 were set a challenge to build a model that moved. We used syringes and plastic tubing to create a pneumatic system. When one syringe is pushed, the air travels through the tube and pushes the other syringe out. Llearna, Isabella, Dominik and Lewis made a little mouse pop up from a dumping ground full of rubbish. Minibeasts in the school garden. This term the children in Y4 have been doing a new type of homework called a learning log. The children had a month to research information about Roman entertainment and present it on an A3 piece of paper. If the paper was not big enough the could extend it if they wanted to.
