Welcome everybody to this momentous occasion. Therefore, we should not use this time to mourn what we will lose, but to celebrate what will come in the future. Celebrate all of our achievements during these four years of high school and the fruits of eighteen years of life. Celebrate everything that all of these parents have done for us. Therefore, we all need to look around and thank the teachers, the parents, and the friends that helped us get to this point today.

So high school has been pretty fun.
Hopefully this would be met by an unintelligible roaring sound of everyone speaking at once. If not, it would be dreadfully embarrassing. More importantly, I learned how much I could learn from reading and just how much I enjoyed learning new things. I read everything- poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction- and I learn something new with each page.
