Skipping Stones on the waves. Eventually the day came to have my daughter. I did not know what that would hold for me. I was so nervous to adjust to this lifestyle, that of being a mother. Sleepless nights? Crying for hours on end? Okay It was hard to bond with my daughter and love her the way I knew she deserved to be loved. I cried myself to sleep a lot of the nights after she was first born. I was so sad and extremely lonely.
