The Orange Basement is a family business that actually did start out in an orange-painted brick basement with a couple of desks, a filing cabinet, and a coffee machine that was never switched off. Our retail business has grown a bit since then, but our principles are still the same and the coffee machine is still on. We are committed to offering our customers only those products we can take pride in ourselves, and the personalized service we believe each customer is entitled to.

In mid-July I traveled to New York City for the BlogHer15 conference. The conference schedule is non-stop but I found that I had a few free hours midweek to explore the city.
