We left with all our luggage and walked to the station, getting on a train and then heading to Beppu, which is only about 13 minutes or so from Oita. From there we took a bus at the station. The bus dropped us within sight of the ferry and we walked over to it and after checking in at the front counter, we boarded the ship. We got on the train into Namba City around 3p.
