Congratulations to River Tweed who won the 2015 UK River Prize and Nigel Holmes Trophy for their outstanding demonstration of partnership works which promotes integrated catchment management and delivers multiple benefits. In the last 5 years Tweed Forum has restored more than 60km of river through e. fencing, planting, re-meandering, installing woody features and creating wetlands.

Englands loss is the worlds gain. The enigmatic and flamboyant Kevin Pietersen announced his retirement from one day and T20 international cricket earlier this week. I am immensely proud of my achievements in the one-day game but still wish to be considered for selection for England in Test cricket. For the record, were the selection criteria not in place, I would have readily played for England in the upcoming ICC World Twenty20.
