This is a new idea I have for an irregular series of posts. This is my way of articulating those thoughts.

I am resigning this blog to make time for a couple of projects that are very important to me. One of them is the Thanksgiving. Conversation I recently began under the pseudonym I have traditionally reserved for my solo music, Quail State. The other is a novel entitled Volcanic Hazards of Auckland, which will be released early next year to accompany the upcoming Quail State album of the same name. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. The next sharp curve was Cabin Corner, where supposedly there was once a cabin, hence the name. Since it is a hairpin corner, I had to drop my speed. After I made the corner, the road conditions and traction really went to the dogs. I was about halfway from Cabin Corner to the Windy Point hairpin when I lost all traction. The snow was loose and slushy enough that the truck started to slide backwards.
