Ashley Jane was born with a sick heart. She had to be intubated shortly after birth and was on a ventilator for a week. It was such a relief when she could finally breathe on her own! Keep their children safe and nurture them. Give them every opportunity possible. We had a meeting with some other doctors and decided that to get the best picture of what was going on we needed to get Ashley up and moving around. She had been in a hospital bed for 3 months!
