Friday, September 30, 2011. Anniversary are days to commemorate milestones and major events. It is also a time to reflect on the changes in life. Its been a year since I started this blog as look back I am amazed at the progress I have made. More importantly I am Ebony and that is enough! I wanted to write a play last year. I have produced my play three times in two states.

Friday, December 28, 2012. Friday, January 21, 2011. All my WIPs seemed superficial and predictable. No characters were speaking to me. The voices in my head had just stopped speaking and I was scared to death. Was this just a bad case of holiday blues, or was the flow gone for good? The more I worried, the less I wrote. The less I wrote, the more I worried.

I bought a book on a recent trip to Walmart. I saw a Black man on the cover of a serial romance and dropped it in my cart. I wanted to show my support to the publisher, that woman of color will buy books with Black coverss.
