E nesse dia tão especial fiz novamente o bolo da festa de Iemanjá do centro que frequento, o Templo Espiritual Estrela da Manhã aqui no Rio de Janeiro mesmo. Eu fiquei muito feliz pelo resultado e com os comentários que quem viu e comeu o bolo! Infelizmente não pude ir na festa mas com o bolo me senti um pouco presente! O bolo da festa de 2011.

There is something about doing something because you feel you have to versus doing it SOLELY because you want to. The feeling of sliding into crisp, cool, clean sheets at night is such a wonderful thing. I have always appreciated it, even as a child. However, make it a daily morning chore as a teen when every last second of morning sleep time matters? And of course a crazy weird thing happening eve.
Benwick of the Washington Post featured Sweet Farm Sauerkraut in the December 31, 2014 edition. Since we moved to The Sweet Farm over three years ago, we have had a large garden every summer. The first year, preoccupied as we were with building a barn and planning a wedding, the garden was accidentally planted almost entirely with summer squash seeds.
