Thursday, June 2, 2011. As a surprise for me for our 39th Anniversary and also for Memorial Day, Mike made reservations at the Quality Inn in Jacksonville Beach, Florida for the weekend. We went down on Saturday after he got off work and came home on Tuesday. But I have to say, as much as I love Jax Beach, somehow this trip made me sad.
