Saturday, January 27, 2007. I am hoping to get back into some of the daily memes. I really miss doing them.
We had a visit from the planetarium this morning. What new facts have you learned? What did you enjoy most about the visit? March 21, 2013. Year One have had such a busy term and I am sure that we are all looking forward to the Easter holidays. Let me know what you are looking forward to doing during your break from school.
What would you like to see if they built a new park in Stanground? October 2, 2013. Now have a think about what you would like to have in a park if they were to build a new one next to our school. Write 5 fabulous sentences about what your ideal park would have in it.
We have been learning about making our sentences more exciting, and have been trying to use BOYS sentences in our work. A BOYS sentence is one where two simple sentences are joined together by the word but, or, yet or so. He was a friendly man most of the time, but. He could be really friendly, or. It was a warm day, yet. He set off quite happily.
It would be great to know about what you do over the Easter Holidays, particularly if you can describe it in lots of detail and use a range of sentence types to do it! I have attached a file showing some of the sentence types to help you use some different ones.
We all hope you are having a great time, Years 5 and 6. Hopefully you will be able to reply to this post. Mum flipped the pancake up but. Finish the story in 100 words, be creative! Things to do before you are 12.
