Here are my parents on their honeymoon in Milan, Italy. Of course this statement sounds very fancy read here in the USA. In reality they lived 50km away from Milan, but considering those times and the type of event, it was obviously something very special to them.

I was only in Michigan for a brief period of time, but was able to carve out an afternoon to visit a few thrift shops in this exotic port of call while my son attended the Michigan State vs. Could not wait to hit the thrift shops. This is what I found. GARDEN CITY FAMILY AND THRIFT STORE. My favorite find were the vintage Pendleton zippered front sweater jacket, and a Pend.

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. As I work in IT, I always get a kick out of how some tech goods are priced in shops. I feel sorry for the person who buys that thing. Does anyone still own them and actually use them? Since the poor are the ones that predominantly shop those stores they will get screwed. How long before our smart phones give away a 1TB capacity phone for signing a two year agreement? .
