YUBARI, Hokkaido - The mayor of Yubari announced Friday that the Hokkaido city would stop holding a popular international film festival because the municipal government was strapped for cash. The 17th festival held in February this year cost about 100 million yen, of which the municipal government paid about 65 million yen. Tokyo film fest to add music, game content.

We went to the Hollywood Bowl to see Grease Sing-a-Long and Sha Na Na was the musical opener. Both of these movies filmed scenes at the 6th St Bridge.

My dorm group ended up going to the airport together even though only two of us had a morning flight. It was nice to look back on the semester during the hour or so long train ride. We planned to have a lot of time to say goodbye, but due to complications with baggage check we really only got about 10 minutes. But I was ecstatic to see my sister and parents for the first time after so long! .
