Writing into the heart of the river. Snow melt is starting to show up in my little reach, the Missing Link. Today when Eric and I strolled down to take a look, we saw a whole tree floating by in a big hurry, on its way north. Ducks and geese and even some sea gulls were living it up. But what of the deer and what of the beaver? What of their fish? Our precious rivers, our holy rivers.
