2 types of animation techniques. A key frame is a a frame of work that contains a animation in. The whole animation is broken up to smaller animations that are contained in a Key frame. The key frame contains a small animation, for example a left arm would raise up. This would connect together at the end so all the key frames link onto each other to provide a full animation.

Persistence of vision is your brain filling in the movements of the picture they do this by putting the image onto a frame and then a blank one after it therefore creating an illusion that the picture is moving inside your head, they do this as it would cost alot more to include the extra frame for each movement so it creates a mirage that makes it seem like it is moving.

Persistence of vision is where the creator only makes 1 of the 3 frames and then the brain fills the missing frames in so it looks like there is all the frames drawn. i think it works well but on this 1 it looks like it jumps between frames so its not as smooth as others.
