Signing off a chapter of blogging. The end result means the end of this blog as we know it. but a new one has appeared. Some two and half years of blogging and 50,000 hits later, it was time for a rethink and to smarten things up as everything evolves. As hectic as the marshes were a month ago its nearly all quiet on the tern front. However the shine has been somewhat taken off the marshes by the lagoons which sounds odd af.
Those who check in regularly will know that the frequency of my blogs on this site has reduced drastically. That is not to say that I have stopped publishing photos from my days out - quite the contrary. This page will largely become defunct from here on. Deserted Medieval Villages of East Yorkshire. Dismantled Railways of East Yorkshire. Bat Box, A Garden, East Yorkshire. Erm, made a bat box last week. Out of pallet wood of course. Picked a few up at work over the last couple of weeks. I just busked my design using a few pictures off the internet. Landing pad for them to land on and work their way into the box. Small gap to keep the bats safe from predators. Will let you know how I get on.

A day at the seaside.
I am a travel and portrait photographer based in the UK city of Bath. After a decade in Japan working as a freelance journalist, I moved back to the UK in August 2013. I have contributed hundreds of articles to publications in Japan, the UK and US.
