Life just in this moment. When was the last time you nurtured yourself? When was the last time you really made a ritual of the everyday things you do? Last week I was asked to close my eyes and imagine what the life I truly wanted to live looked like. Now, I do agree with the fact that media focuses on femme women and seeks to peg that as ideal but in the scope of the original argument, to be a white person critiquing transgender women who are of color as embodying norms and not representing the whole community and invalidating the work they do as activists, I start to itch.
