The lotus rises from murky muddiness and grows to the surface of the water where there is light. There are many different meanings as to the openness as well as the color of the lotus flower, but basically the meaning of an open lotus flower is the attainment of enlightenment.

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. My arty friend, Tracy Anderson. Challenges our art group every so often. According to the rules, you can use three different color markers and a black and white pen. One is a brown color, GB10 to be exact. The other color is a Navy Blue color, BT9. The last color is from a Prismacolor pen.
