More Balloons on the Beach! Stop Littering In Carlsbad California. Just north of Tamarack beach in Carlsbad, I found two balloons in the surf today. Lucily I wear sandlas with my work clothes so I could slip those off and go to the water to retrieve the trash. Those were just waiting to be popped and ending up as little pieces in the guts of little fish and birds. They just end up as pollution.
