The site had the following in the homepage, "Well, summer has arrived here and all the local people are complaining of the heat, while we are basking in the warmth." Saturday, October 25, 2014. I am thinking of ending this blog. I began it 6 years ago now when mom and dad were first living here with us and no longer able to live alone in LaGrange. We truly had many happy times with mom and dad the first years they were at Sutter Living Center. We ate ice cream at House of Flavors and drove down along the lake front many times.
To really experience life we must travel through this world in some manner. Wednesday, January 07, 2015. We went to the Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge today Jan 5, 2015 and it was a great experience. Our first encounter with birds at the center were Quails and Dove.

In April we once again traveled the Alaska-Canadian Highway. Two vehicles, 2 people and 14 dogs. In Canada we drove into spring and then back into winter when we hit the mountains of Wyoming.
