Tuesday, 30 June 2015. This half term we are investigating toys old and new. Tom visited Year one with lots of different types of toys, both old and new. The children had the opportunity to investigate and play with them. They learnt how the dolls used to be made from porcelain which was clay before the plastic dolls they all have today. They looked at toys made from wood and had no idea how to play with them until Tom showed them! Some toys moved by pulling them.

Wednesday, 24 June 2015. Bushcraft at Bestwood Park, Bulwell. Year 5 took part in Bushcraft activities at Bestwood Park today.
