Friday, August 14, 2015. Days 3 and 4 - Kirtland. After the temple, we went to the Kirtland Village and had a tour of the Newel K. Whitney store and their home and a few other buildings from the Kirtland era. I love the Newel K. Whitney story and was amazed at what a great couple they were in welcoming the prophet and the church members to Ohio. It was one of my favorite tours on our trip. I loved seeing the trundle bed where the prophet and Emma once slept.
Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Posted by The Butler Family. October 5th, Homecoming Parade! Spencer had a blast being able to ride in the Homecoming Parade. His teachers are Miss Molly and Miss Amber on the back of the flat bed. Playing on the Sheep in front of the courthouse after the parade! Both kids had a lot of fun, dancing and playing with friends! Saturday, April 25, 2015. Lukas went to the doctor this week and he is 16 pounds and 2 ounces. He is growing so fast and very busy! He is crawling everywhere and can sit up for a few minutes before tipping over. We are headed to Boise in a little over a week to see an eye doctor. We have been concerned with the way he holds his head to the sides, and the doctor thinks it could be problems with his eyes. So we are starting there and hoping to get some answers. Thursday, October 18, 2012. Last week Eva turned 2 months old. I cant believe how fast time goes by! My cousin Jenny gave me these cute sticker for each month. I think they go up to two years or more! Such a great idea! Along with taking her picture every month with the stickers, we are going to dress her in this cute jumper and put the same bunny with her to show how she is growing.
Trent and Teresa - Canadian Snowbirds. Monday, April 8, 2013. We awoke early this morning in Miles City, Montana, to a winter wonderland. Because we had already winterized the rig, we were just wanting to head for home. I will admit to some tense driving moments on the interstate, until a sanding truck appeared and we tucked in behind him. The only problem was we could only do about 30 mph. After crawling for a long while, the road cleared up, and traffic was flowing at about 50 mph.
