The rough, burlap texture and earthy, organic colors reinforce the sense that this coffee is a naturally grown, fresh, healthy product. The texture also reminds the viewer of coffee beans eliciting responses associated with smell, taste etc of coff.

My concept of this project is to create an image that not only plays with the eye visually, but with the brain mentally.

Have a lot to learn about doing illustrations with the pen tool. This was an assignment to create a poster in the style of another graphic designer. Mine was Chipp Kidd who does a lot of book covers so I did mine up kind of like both a poster and a book cover.
