How could we forget you? August 13, 2015. During our AmeriCorps year of service, we are asked to write a Great Story. The best kinds of stories are the ones that come to you slowly, and then all at once. The sorts of stories that would make more logical sense were they told in reverse, but instead seem to expand beyond their margins as they unfold long after the telling is over.

Friday, August 7, 2015. It is with mixed emotions that I write to tell you I will be suspending my newsletters for the time being. I am greatly honored to have accepted the position of publisher of Knopf Books for Young Readers. I am a game designer and musician living in New York, and a co-owner of Babycastles. An internationally active arts organization and the first gallery dedicated to contemporary independent videogames. For now, my work tends to involve stark, often humorous, deliberate portrayals of misleading, adversarial, or incomplete systems. Some things I have made are below.
