Friday, November 16, 2012. Last night, I held a human heart in my hands. It was both an interesting and humbling experience. As I continue to learn more about anatomy and physiology, I think about the minutiae involved in just maintaining life. All of the tiny cells, working together to make up tissues, organs, organisms.
