After watching this film, I could not believe all the effort that goes into creating advertisements. I never realized how marketers were interested in kids and their consumption. Marketers use this purchasing influence to their advantage. It goes to show that kids have so much power in the economy. Response to Mickey Mouse Monopoly.

In watching the in class film, Media History, I found it interesting to watch the overall evolution of media and technology. Literally from the printing press to iPhones, times have drastically changed, but for the better. After the development of the game-changing printing press, communication became a product, which I found really compelling! Home entertainment became popular once the TV.

As for now I leave you with an extra feature from the documentary, suggesting some of things that parents can do to combat the consumption of kids. Welcome to My Mass Comm.
