We have added only a few other plants while working on larger projects; namely removing a couple hundred cement pieces that had once formed raised planters within which, at that point, only dirt and dreams of a thriving garden did dwell. We have planted the small pine trees from our last two Christmases, some climbing vines, and a few Mexican sunflowers. The sunflowers were the first plant I have successfully grown from seed! We should really paint the deck first.
