Writing for the sake of it. Last night was my very own launch party for the Mumsnet book of Animal Stories. Hosted by my fantastic employers, The Bookhouse, it was an opportunity for old friends and new to enjoy a glass of fizz and chat about writing. I had to make a speech, which was terrifying, and left me as red as a red-faced thing! So thank you, to all who came. I had a lovely evening.
