It was time for a change and I had big ideas about lots of blogs all together. I am delighted to say I have finally finished my new site, All Five Horizons. All five horizons home page. 8211; complete feed to all 5 blogs. All the posts have been imported into the relevant parts of the new blog and this blog will remain up but will no longer be updated.

Sunday, May 18, 2008. It was unseasonably warm - hot, really - and the kids ran through the sprinkler, smeared with sunblock and laughing over the sound of the running water. The dog chased a tennis ball, occasionally running through the path of the sprinkler just in time to avoid being doused himself. The screen door slammed, and my son burst into the kitchen, asking for a peanut butter sandwich.

Some things I blogged about at the time and others occurred after I ended my blog. I found out I had skin cancer. I moved with my kids to another state. I bought my first house. I found out my skin cancer was back. The Boy graduated from high school. I got laid off from the job I had for more than a decade.
